Configuring a IP-User Binding

Policy > Object > User > IP-User Binding

Use the user binding function to bind an IP/MAC address to a user flexibly.

In the IP-User Binding page, you can perform the following actions:

From the AAA Server drop-down menu, select a server that you want to add user bindings.
Click Add User Binding to bind an IP/MAC address to a user manually.
Click Delete to delete the selected user bindings.
Click Import to import the user-address binding list.
Click Export to export the user-address binding list.

Options in the IP MAC Binding dialog:

Option	Description
User
AAA Server	Select an AAA server from the drop-down list.
User	Select a user for the binding from the drop-down list.
Advanced
Binding Type	By specifying the binding type, you can bind the user to a IP address or MAC address.
IP/MAC	If IP is selected, type the IP address into the IP textbox; if MAC is selected, type the MAC address into the MAC textbox.
Virtual Router	Select the VR of the specified IP address or MAC address.
Check WebAuth IP-User Mapping Relationship	Select the Check WebAuth IP-User Mapping Relationship checkbox to apply the IP-User mapping only to the check for IP-user mapping during Web authentication
