Configuring a Virtual Router

System > Network > Advanced Network > Virtual Router

By configuring virtual routers, you can divide a device into multiple virtual routers, and each router utilizes and maintains their completely independent routing table. In such a case one single device is acting as multiple routers.

In the Virtual Router page, you can perform the following actions:

Options in the Virtual Router Configuration dialog:

Option Description

Virtual Router

Specifies the virtual router name in the textbox.

Options in the Global Configuration page:

Option Description

Multiple Virtual Routers

Select the checkbox to enable the Multiple Virtual Routers function and then click Apply to submit your configurations.
