Introduction to SCVPN

Secure Connect VPN (SCVPN for short) is a SSL based remote access solution. Remote users can access the intranet resources safely through SCVPN.

To use the SCVPN function, the SCVPN server and SCVPN client must be configured. SCVPN server provides the following features:

• Accept client connections.
• Allocate IP addresses, DNS server addresses, and WIN server addresses to SCVPN clients.
• Authenticate and authorize SCVPN clients.
• Perform host check to SCVPN client.
• Encrypt and forward IPSec data.

SCVPN client is named Hillstone Security Connect. You can download it through your web browser, and then install it on your PC. After successfully connecting to the SCVPN server, you can communicate with the server safely.

By default, the concurrent online client number may vary from different platforms. You can expand the supported number by buying a SCVPN license.

Note: The Russia version does not support the SSL protocol and the related SCVPN function.
