Configuring an Address Book
This section describes how to configure an address book.
Creating an Address Book
To create an address book, take the following steps:
- Select Objects > Address Book from the menu bar.
- In the Address Book dialog, click New.
- In the Address Entry Configuration dialog, type the address entry name into the Name box.
- Select an address entry member from the Member drop-down list, and configure IP/netmask, IP range, Host name or Address entry as needed.
- Click Add to add the configured member to the list below.
- If needed, repeat the above steps to add more members.
- Type the description for the address entry into the Description box.
- Click OK to save your settings.
Editing/Deleting an Address Book
To edit/delete an address book, take the following steps:
- Select Objects > Address Book from the menu bar.
- In the Address Book dialog, select the address entry you want to edit/delete from the member list, and click Edit/Delete.
Viewing Details
To view the details of an address entry, including the name, member, description and reference, take the following steps:
- Select Objects > Address Book from the menu bar.
- In the Address Book dialog, select an address entry from the member list, and view the details under the list.
- On the Details tab, view the name, member and description of the entry.
- Click the Referenced by tab to view the entry's reference by other modules.
- Address entry: Reference by other address entries.
- Policy: Reference by policy rules.
- SNAT: Reference by SNAT rules.
- DNAT: Reference by DNAT rules.
- Statistics: Reference statistics.
- Session Limit: Reference by session limit rules.
- Policy-based route: Reference by policy-based rules.
- QoS: Reference by QoS rules.
