Configuring an Email Address

You can configure an email address to receive event log messages.

Adding an Email Address

To add a new email address, take the following steps:

  1. On the Navigation pane, click Log > Configuration > Email to visit the Email Address List page.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Email Address Configuration dialog, type the email address into the Email address box.
  4. Select a SMTP server from the Server name drop-down list.
  5. Click OK to save the settings.

Editing an Email Address

To edit an email address, take the following steps:

  1. On the Navigation pane, click Log > Configuration > Email to visit the Email Address List page.
  2. Select the email you want to edit from the email address list, and click Edit.
  3. Click OK to save the changes.

Deleting an Email Address

To delete an email address, take the following steps:

  1. On the Navigation pane, click Log > Configuration > Email to visit the Email Address List page.
  2. Select the email you want to delete from the email address list, and click Delete.
