Settings
This section describes how to change system settings.
To change system settings, take the following steps:
- Select System > Device Management from the menu bar.
- In the Device Management dialog, click the Settings tab.
- On the Settings tab, configure the options as below:
- System language: Click Chinese or English. The system supports English and Simplified Chinese system messages. System messages include system log, error message and notification message.
- Admin auth server: Select a server to authenticate the administrator from the drop-down list.
- Host name: Type a host name you want to change into the box. In some situation, more than one security devices are installed within a network. To distinguish among these devices, different names should be assigned to different devices. The default host name is assigned according to the model.
- Domain: Type a domain name you want to specify into the Domain box.
- Min password length: Specifies the minimum length of password. The value range is 4 to 16 characters. The default value is 4.
- Password complexity: Specifies the complexity of administrator’s password. Unlimited means no restriction on the selection of password characters.
- Click OK to save your settings.
