If a security zone is configured with an Anti-Virus rule, system will perform detection on the traffic that is destined to the binding zone specified in the rule. If an Anti-Virus rule is bound to a policy rule, system will perform detection on the traffic that is matched to the policy rule. In the both scenarios, the detection will be based on the Anti-Virus rule's configuration.
System adopts Kaspersky virus signature database, and also integrates Google Safe Browsing database. The virus signature database includes over 10,000 signatures, and supports both daily auto update and real-time local update.
The protocol types Anti-Virus can scan include POP3、HTTP、SMTP、IMAP4 and FTP, and the file types include archives (including GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, ZIP and RAR-compressed archives), PE (supported packing: ASPack 2.12, UPack 0.399, UPX (all versions), FSG v1.3, 1.31, 1.33, 2.0), HTML, Mail, RIFF, CryptFF and JPEG.
