QoS Configuration Example --- Application QoS

This section describes an application QoS configuration example. The requirement is: restricting the P2P traffic transmitting on ethernet0/0 to 1M/sec.

Take the following steps:

1. On the Navigation pane, click Configuration > Content > QoS to visit the QoS Configuration page.
2. Click New on the upper-left of the application QoS list. In the Application QoS dialog, configure the options as below:
   • Rule name: exam_appqos
   • Apply to: Select Interface, ethernet0/0 from the drop-down lists in turn.
   • Match condition: Select APP_P2P from the drop-down list, and click Add.
   • Output BW: Select Max BW from the drop-down list, type 1000 into the box behind, and click Add.
     
3. Click OK the save your settings and return to the QoS page. The rule exam_appqos is displayed in the QoS rule list. The following shows the configuration result:
