Configuration Backup & Restore Wizard
Using the Configuration Backup & Restore Wizard, you can not only restore the system configurations to the saved configurations or factory defaults, but also create a new configuration file to backup the current configurations.
To restore to the saved configurations, take the following steps:
- Select System > Configuration Backup & Restore Wizard from the menu bar.
- In the Configuration Backup & Restore Wizard dialog, click Roll back to saved configurations, and then click Next.
- You can configure the options as below according to your need and then click Next.
Select backup system configurations file - Select a backup system configuration file you need from the list.
Upload system configuration file from local PC - Click Browse and choose a local configuration file you need in your PC.
- You can decide whether to reboot the device. Note that in order to make the configuration file take effect, you have to reboot.
- Click OK to save your settings.
To back up the current system configurations, take the following steps:
- Select System > Configuration Backup & Restore Wizard from the menu bar.
- In the Configuration Backup & Restore Wizard dialog, click Back up current configurations, and then click Next.
- Type the descriptions information into the Description box, and then click Next to begin the backup.
- If succeeded, the system will show you a prompt. Click Close.
To restore system configurations to the factory defaults, take the following steps:
- Select System > Configuration Backup & Restore Wizard from the menu bar.
- In the Configuration Backup & Restore Wizard dialog, click Restore to factory defaults, and then click Next.
- Select whether to reboot the device. Note that in order to make your configuration take effect, you have to reboot.
- Click OK to save your settings.
