Configuring a Schedule
This section describes how to configure a schedule.
Creating a Schedule
To create a schedule, take the following steps:
- Select Objects > Schedule from the menu bar.
- In the Schedule dialog, click New.
- In the Schedule Configuration dialog, type the name for the schedule into the Name box.
- Click Add, and configure the options in the Add periodic schedules section.
- Specify a type for the periodic schedule in the Type section:
- Daily - The specified time of every day. Click this option button, and then, in the Time section, select a start time and end time from the Start time and End time drop-down list respectively.
- Days - The specified time of a specified day during a week. Click this option button, and then select a day/days in the Periodic section, and finally select a start time and end time from the Start time and End time drop-down list respectively.
- Due - A continuous period during a week. Click this option button, and then in the Duration section select a start day/time and end day/time from the Start time and End time drop-down list respectively.
- If needed, click Preview to preview the detail of configured periodic schedule in the Preview section.
- Click OK to save your settings and return to the previous dialog/page.
- If needed, repeat Step 4 to add more periodic schedule entries.
- To delete a periodic schedule entry, select the entry you want to delete from the period schedule list below, and click Delete.
- In the Absolute schedule section, specify a start time and end time for the absolute schedule.
- Click OK to save your settings.
Editing/Deleting a Schedule
To edit/delete a schedule, take the following steps:
- Select Objects > Schedule from the menu bar.
- Select the schedule you want to edit/delete from the schedule list below, and click Edit/Delete.
View Schedule Details
To view schedule details, take the following steps:
- Select Objects > Schedule from the menu bar.
- Select a schedule from the schedule list below, and view its details in the lower section.
