Bypass Domain
Regardless of network behavior control configurations (URL filter, keyword filter, web post control, email filter, and HTTP/FTP control), requests to the specified bypass domains will be allowed unconditionally. The bypass domain configuration will be effective to the entire system.
Adding a Bypass Domain
To add a bypass domain, take the following steps:
- On the Navigation pane, click Configure > Content > URL Filter/Web Content/Web Posting/Email Filter/HTTP/FTP Control to visit the corresponding pages.
- On the Task tab in the right auxiliary pane, click Bypass domain.
- In the Bypass Domain dialog, type a domain name into the box and click Add. The domain name will be added to the system and displayed in the bypass domain list.
- Repeat Step 3 to add more bypass domains.
- Click OK to save your settings.
Editing a Bypass Domain
To edit a bypass domain, take the following steps:
- On the Navigation pane, click Configure > Content > URL Filter/Web Content/Web Posting/Email Filter/HTTP/FTP Control to visit the corresponding pages.
- On the Task tab in the right auxiliary pane, click Bypass domain.
- Select a bypass domain you want to edit from the list and click Edit.
- Modify the bypass domain name in the box and then click Add.
- Repeat the Step 3-4 to modify more bypass domains.
Deleting a Bypass Domain
To delete a bypass domain, take the following steps:
- On the Navigation pane, click Configure > Content > URL Filter/Web Content/Web Posting/Email Filter/HTTP/FTP Control to visit the corresponding pages.
- On the Task tab in the right auxiliary pane, click Bypass domain.
- Select the bypass domain you want to delete from the list and click Delete.
Notes:
- Bypass domains will be completely matched.
- Bypass domains will be effective to the entire system.
