We are delighted to announce that Hillstone’s next-gen firewalls have been recognized for the eighth straight year in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Firewalls*. For the first time, Hillstone is positioned highest for the ability to execute in the Visionaries quadrant.
Since releasing the industry’s first artificial intelligence (AI)-based firewall in 2013, we’ve been listed in the Niche Players quadrant in the Gartner Magic Quadrant every subsequent year. In that time, we’ve continuously improved the AI and machine learning (ML) technologies used in our firewalls as well as in other products such as the server Breach Detection System (sBDS). In addition, we’ve heavily invested in cloud security – CloudHive was one of the first micro-segmentation solutions for the private cloud, and CloudEdge one of the first virtual NGFW solutions to support major public clouds and NFV infrastructure.
Earlier this year, we released a new generation of firewalls, the A-Series Next Generation Firewall, which supports a security data lake for threat hunting, forensics and other uses, as well as cloud-based threat intelligence and even more powerful and useful AI and ML capabilities. And, our new iSource extended detection and response (XDR) solution expands cybersecurity from the network edge to encompass the entire enterprise network and infrastructure.
