IPv6 Support.
Since LMS 4.1 supports IPv6. Customers now embrace all IPv6 advanced features over IPv4. Such as IPv6 has improved security and ample address space.
Duplicate License Alert Notifications.
LMS 4.1 introduces a notification system that alerts VNFs when duplicate licenses are detected without restricting VNF functions. This ensures smoother VNF management, eliminating concerns about negative business impacts caused by human errors in duplicated license installations.
Improved License Management to Optimize User Experience.
Large customers have thousands of VMs and licenses to manage every day. By any chance, some licenses are installed on different VNFs, and some licenses are left for use. Duplicated license install happens when one license is installed in different VNFs simultaneously. The VNF’s functions will be restricted due to license installation mistakes. The business traffic will be impacted by a root cause of license usage error. Customers want to have a smoother way to deploy a license.
LMS 4.1 notifies VNF of a log alert, not restrict functions of VNF when duplicated licenses are detected. This allows users to manage VNFs more smoothly: users do not need to worry about the negative impact on the business caused by human error in duplicated license installation.
