The new models boast performance ranges from 10 Gbps to 20 Gbps firewall throughput, expanded physical network connection capability with new expansion slots in the front panel for additional I/O modules. Such capabilities render Hillstone A-Series NGFW suitable for providing comprehensive enterprise security protection for midsize organizations.
Expansion capabilities: The inclusion of a new front-panel expansion slot in the A2715, A2815, A3615, and A3615 models accommodates three new expansion cards (IOC-A-F-8GE, IOC-A-F-4SFP+, IOC-A-F-4SFP+), supporting up to 8 SFP+ ports. Moreover, the A3615 and A3815 models also feature a back-panel slot with the IOC-A-2QSFP+ card, offering 2x40Gbps QSFP+ ports, thereby providing flexibility and scalability for future network expansion.
High-density interfaces: Equipped with up to 8×1 Gbps SFP and 8×1 Gbps RJ45 interfaces, along with two physical bypass pairs, the new models deliver high-performance, cost-effective perimeter protection solutions.
Comprehensive threat protection: These models inherit the A-series’ robust feature set, delivering top-tier protection against known and unknown threats through IPS, IP Reputation, URL Filtering, Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus, Cloud Sandbox, and Botnet C2 Prevention.
Advanced hardware architecture: The advanced hardware design enables new models to possess heat-dissipation capability with front and rear-end ventilation, and high SSL decryption efficiency powered by SSL hardware acceleration engine. Additionally, the large-capacity and expandable storage offer enhanced data visibility and analytics.
